Possession of firearm by a felon with priors and possession of controlled substance with a firearm. Client was also on parole. According to police reports, client was observed by police throwing a loaded gun in the trash as they approached him. They also found large amounts of cash and Ecstacy on his person. His potential prison exposure was approximately 7 years.
